It feels good drawing these two again lol. It's been a long time. After getting volume 16, I felt compelled to draw fanart. Definitely my favorite volume so far. ouob
This is way more colorful than I'm used to, by the way. The lighting is all over the place lol. But that's because there are like, three light sources. ene Yes, I know the colors on Roji's wards and pen are off; I colored them from memory. Also, RAAAGE at Roji's hair. Nishi has godly drawing skills to be able to redraw it over and over. ono

It's always awesome to see Muhyo and Roji art, since the manga isn't all that big regarding popularity. On one hand it makes me sad cause I feel like it's very unique and special, and yet it makes me happy that it wasn't buried by its own popularity like many other (otherwise good) fandoms were. Always nice to find a fellow fan!
Back on topic, amazing job with the piece! I love your shading and was gonna comment on the few anatomy mistakes with Roji, but then stumbled upon a redraw on your page and dayum you have indeed improved so much, good job! I feel you on Roji's hair, I've really gotten into this fandom fairly recently with season 2 (I did watch season 1, then kinda forgot about it, then season 2 came out and I straight up binged the entire manga) so I've been sketching them both a lot. Damn that hair. Damn it to hell. With both of them. Admittedly once I figured what kinda style I wanna go with for Roji, it isn't that bad, but I still can't pin Muhyo's hair down to what I want, goddamnit!
